Building block power supply range gives complete design flexibility
The most significant advance in switching sower supply design for more than 10 years
is encompassed in Omron's new S8TS range. This is based on a unique 'plug -together'
block design,allowing the user to create collectivies of 2.5,5,7.5 or 10 amps in 12 or 24
VDC ouput voltage and is also available in 5VDC as a 5 amp block.
'The S8TS will change the way we look at power,' says Omron's Mike Irvin,who is one of
the people respensible for the concept of the range.
'With it you can always just add a bit more power' to a control panel if you are extending
it,and in new-build projects you can keep up with changing specificactions without
having to completely redesign the panel everytime there is a modifictaion.You can even
run components of different voltages from a single collective of S8TS!'
The standard size(43x120x120mm WxHxD)DIN-rail mounting modules make initial panel
layout simple.
